Wet Market Delivery - How we do it?

How to order TADA Fresh Market

Select the market of your choice from “Your Market” at the top header. At the moment, you can choose between Tekka Wet Market and Tiong Bahru Wet Market. We will be introducing new markets in the near future. 

Choose from a wide variety of wet market products such as fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood and food staples. Add the products to your cart. When you have completed selecting your items, proceed to checkout. 

If you have an account, you can directly proceed to check-out via a few simple clicks. If not, you can create an account on the top right hand menu. Otherwise, continue to checkout as a guest. 

Having an account will reduce the steps required for your future purchases on TADA Fresh Market. Your address is stored in the system which allows a much simpler process to purchase your shortlisted items. 

If you are an existing customer with your address saved, simply select that as the shipping address. If you are sending the items to a new address, click on the “New Address” button to add a new shipping address. 

Select your delivery date and time via the dropdown menu on the checkout page. Add any further comments you may have in the text field below. 

At the next page, simply add in your credit or debit card details and click on the make payment button. All credit card numbers are encrypted and are securely processed by our payment processor. You will receive a confirmation email of your order shortly after completing the purchase.  

Important points to note. You can login to both markets using the same account. However, both markets have different shopping carts. 

How are the products purchased, sorted and delivered?

We will consolidate these orders and dispatch them to the wet market vendors the day before your scheduled delivery date. Our team will transport these purchases to our sorting facility.  All meats and temperature sensitive products are kept chilled in ice boxes. These products are then transferred to refrigerators upon arriving at our sorting facility. 

All products from respective vendors are sorted into their respective orders. These are then handled over to drivers who receive them according to their delivery routes. All meats and temperature sensitive products are kept chilled in chiller bags with additional ice packs to keep chill through this journey. We have optimised the delivery to ensure that the maximum time for delivery from our sorting facility to the last drop-off is under an hour. 

Products on TADA Fresh Market are priced with a small margin. This goes directly to drivers to remunerate them for their time and labour to make these purchases.
